Ultimate Sloppy Joes


extra virgin oil
1 lg onion, diced
1 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey (I use hamburger meat)
kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
2 cups ketsup
1/4 cup yellow mustard
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp tomatoe paste
1 Tbsp apple cinnamon vinegar
5 whole wheat hamburger buns

Brown hambuger meat and onions salt and pepper and then add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 10-12 minutes. It was a little hot so next time I might just add 1/2 of the cheyanne pepper that it calls for, for the kids.
