Carmel Syrup

2 cups cream
2 cups sugar
1/4 stick of butter (not margarine)
1 tsp vanilla

Cook till dissolved, do not boil.
This recipe is from our friend Kyle Alen's Mom.
It goes really good with Grandma's french pancakes.
