Esfiha's and or Pizza Pockets

Pizza Pockets:
1 batch of "Yummy Moist White Bread)
1 (26 oz.) can of pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce (garlic flavored)
3 or 4 cups of Mozzarella sauce (you may need more)
Pepperoni

1 beaten egg
1 Tbsp. water

Make the bread dough. You don't have to let it rise. You can make it and roll it out. Roll the dough out really thin and use a pizza cutter to cut about 4 inch squares. Put some sauce, cheese and 2 slices of peperoni. Be careful with how much sauce you put on so it doesn't spill out. Pull corners up together and pinch sides so that everything is sealed together.
Place (seam down) on a greased cookie sheet. Brush top with beaten egg and water mixture. Bake @ 350 for 20 minutes. This is very kid friendly and makes a lot. I usually freeze the left overs. Then when we need them again all I have to do is pop it in the microwave for a minute or two.

Esfiha recipe:
1 pound of hamburger
1 chopped onion
1/4 cup parsley
1 tomato (diced)
2 tsp. vinegar

Fry hamburger and onion together. Add parsley, tomato and vinegar. simmer for a few minutes. Follow the above directions for the pizza pockets. They are good with ketchup and mustard. they also freeze well. Sometimes I will double the bread recipe and cook both the pizza pockets and Esfiha's (a Brazilian dish) and freeze as well.
